as if I'm breaking apart,
has been very good for me, and I'd like to encourage others my age — or younger or older — to get off the couch and exercise.” — Annabelle

To save your SPINE and EVERYTHING attached to it!
THE BASICS:5 Simple Exercises to Get You Started

I created STRETCH IN TIME® because many people think for any number of reasons that they can't exercise anymore. You may think you are too old, too weak, too lazy, or that you don't have time. Or you may simply not want to exercise. But the reality is you should STRETCH IN TIME® to save your spine and everything else attached to it!
Working with people of all ages and skill levels over the years, I've learned that as we age, exercise becomes harder, and it's especially difficult to start exercising if you've stopped. This DVD is structured to help you get going.
So, STRETCH IN TIME® keeps it simple by using five yoga-like postures that stretch major joints and muscles. Each stretch (and there are only five of them) is demonstrated, and the benefits of doing The Routine are explained. Anyone, at any level of ability, can do this—you'll see. So don't worry. Watch the entire DVD before starting The Routine, and you'll be guided step by step.
If someone handed you STRETCH IN TIME® and said, “This DVD will be great for you!” and you're thinking, “I don't think so,” give it a chance. It just may help you to introduce your mind to your body, and…they just might like each other.
How can this program help me?
These five simple postures stretch your major joints and muscles. When you stretch in this way, as you age, you prepare for the unexpected. Your spine is your support system. When you stretch your spine, movement becomes easier throughout your body. This program will assist you in becoming more flexible and we'll explain why these safe and efficient postures are so effective.
Movement Therapist, Elyse Briggs guides you through The Routine while Dr. Beth Marcus and Dr. Jeffrey Ring, explain the many physical and psychological benefits of moving in this way. STRETCH IN TIME® is an innovative docu-instructional method of learning, bringing a creative approach to documentary filmmaking under the experienced direction of Jim Sanders of Reel Ideas Inc. www.reelideas.com
